Marine Cargo
The marine insurance
policy covers loss or damage to your goods during the course of transit, be it
by land, sea, air or combination. The insurance may be designed according to
your need. There are several sets of insurance clauses available for your
selection. The “All Risks” provision under Institute Cargo Clauses (A) covers
theft, pilferage, non delivery, fire, explosion, water damage, vessel being
grounded or sunk etc. You may also opt for cover under Institute Cargo Clauses
(C) where only major casualties are covered for example fire, explosion,
vessels being grounded or capsized etc. Like other insurance policies, covers
are subject to exclusions.
Since cargoes are shipped to worldwide destinations, we have secured the services of International class survey and settling agents to assist you and your buyer should cargoes are loss or damaged at destination.
