Motor Claim Procedures


MOTOR CLAIMS PROCEDURES 
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AFTER AN ACCIDENT/LOSS 

1. Call Lonpac E-Assist Helpline.
2. Be calm, polite and avoid any argument.
3. Do not admit any liability or offer settlement of payment to any party involved in the accident.  
You can advise the other party to contact us to lodge a claim if required
4. Notify us immediately of the accident
5. Lodge a police report within 24 hours of the accident
6. Note down the following details :
a) Registration number(s) and the model of the vehicle(s) involved in the accident
b) The names and contact numbers of other drivers involved in the accident
c) The name of the insurance company of all parties involved
d) The names, addresses and contact numbers of independent witnesses if available
e) The extent of damages or injuries of the parties involved
7. You are required to send the damaged vehicle to Lonpac’s Panel of Workshops or to the
franchise of that damaged vehicle. The Company will not be liable if the vehicle is repaired by
any unauthorized workshops.
